I love being on a lifelong journey with God. There are so many amazing things that happen and ‘coincidences’ that God orchestrates simply because of His love for us.
The church in Prineville prayed specifically for 2 years for a ministry family. My family prayed and searched for God’s will during the same time period. Do we stay in campus ministry or move into becoming a minister of the Word? James Freie was the catalyst used by God to bring us together for such a time as this.
In 2018, we moved to Prineville from Corvallis, OR where I was the campus minister at the University Christian Center for ten years. Amanda and I have been married for over 20 years and have 4 cute, blonde boys: Josiah, Jaron, Justus, and Jace. Josiah is compassionate, smart, and always full of ideas. He enjoys track, cross country, reffing basketball, and hanging out with friends. Jaron enjoys doing magic tricks and track and cross country and his new car. Justus loves almost everything outside and is full of energy and ready to do anything. When he was 2, Amanda was looking for him outside. She heard him yelling from the top of our camper, “Mommy, I climbed a tall tower,” which gave his mother a heart attack.
Amanda, is a homeschooling mom. She is a teacher for their Classical Conversation coop and enjoys helping the boys love to learn. Amanda also wrote a book with Revive ministries and speaks at retreats.
I’m a basketball referee and substitute at the High School as I try to connect with our community and serve. I enjoy serving and walking with people through the journey of life as disciples of Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite lines of Jesus comes from John 1:35-39, “Come and see.” We invite you, like Jesus did, to come and see our church family. We would love to show you around and share coffee together.
